10 ways to stay free from anxiety and depression

Depression is one of the most dangerous killer in the world is depression; families are destroyed, bad decisions are made every day, joy becomes a myth to people. The world becomes a strange place to live in. Now how does one beat depression?  Here are 10 ways to beat it.
1 Have a relationship with God
God is a source of life and blessed is any man that trust in Him. Listening and meditating upon the word of God is one positive living you can receive for the benefit of your mind body and soul. His instruction builds an inner peace that cannot be understood by earthly wisdom. Now the winning formula is to earnestly seek His Kingdom and His righteousness.
2 Don’t follow the multitudes
Learn to be clear in mind and avoid doing just about everything that is done by everyone. Following the multitudes comes with a lot of pressure; people get caught up in acts they never planned to. Just because everyone smokes around you don’t mean you have to follow, just because your friend’s lives in the upmarket doesn’t mean you have to suffocate your little salary and follow them.  Don’t make people’s choice of fashion your own, don’t choose a career because everyone in it is living well, having a car or a house. Do things because you love them and had a clear positive mind when you decided on them.
3 focus on solutions than problems
Always give any situation a positive because there is a solution to any problem and God answer any question; keep focus and strive to find a solution. Running away or seeking quick solutions is just a temporary thing that will come back and haunt you. The wise handle the matter now to avoid future outcomes. Pray to God and ask for guides.
4 Accept things you cannot change
Not all things will go your way; the bible says “Be content with what you have.” Learn always to appreciate your life and be able to wake up every morning and with thanks giving give thanks to your creator knowing that the plans He has for you are still in process. The moment you start complaining about who get promoted and you not! Who is getting married, what is wrong with me? Why this gets this and I don’t? Just there you have lost focus and you have made other people’s fates your concern and neglected yours. Read John 21:22.
5 Keep healthy
Good health is equals to positive mind; devote you to sporting activities or hit the local gym, take walks or go bike. Yes sweat out every now and the so that you may have good sleeps, rest and focus.
6 Mingle with positive and character building people
Watch the company you keep; surround yourself with open minded people, people who come straight and tell you even thing you don’t want to hear e.g. correcting you when you mess up, gives you positive opinions without fear or favour. People without jealous and don’t slander or gossip. They that would rather focus on building you up than shifting your focus
7 Endure trials
Beyond every storm there is sunshine and sprung of new leafs. Always be ready for trials; not everything will go according to your expectations, not t everyone will love you, not everyone will agree with you or appreciate you. So worrying against such is like trying to punch the air.
8 Take responsibilities for your own actions
People make mistake and learn from them. Foolish people deny their own mistakes and keep doing the very same mistakes; always acknowledge your mistakes and take action against them. Be disciplined and self-controlled
9 Be in control of your mind (think positive)
Know always that if you can’t control what you think, you will never control what you do. Simply be in charge of your mind
10 Pray, Pray and Pray
This is back at 0ne; have a relationship with God, trust Him, confess life every day in His Name. Speak to Him every day and tell Him the things you want to see in your life. Cast all your cares to Him

Keep The World Clean

I am not a health or environmental; expect but one thing I know is that environmental care is a social responsibility for any human being who functions within the wisdom and knowledge.     Cleanliness in a society means good health for both humans and animals. It is a shame to witness people destroying their own space and coming to terms with fact that they live in untidy areas that they destroyed with their ignorance. People choose to ignore a simple sign of NO DUMPING! The big issues are if it doesn’t start with me and you; it will never will. Let us run or be involved in community campaigns to keep the environment clean, start by keeping that banana skin, take away box, soft drink can, liquor bottle etc. with you till you reach a trash can.
