What The World Need! (Love, Forgiveness and Peace)

Hate doesn't benefit the world; it is instead an enemy to human dignity. Love and peace should be the center of human life, not that of killing and fighting in the name of peace. We as humans need to learn love and tolerance at all cost and maintain them on a daily basis, we can exercise the saying "charity begins at home", we can start making our households areas of greater learning; in order to achieve the saying "No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite." ~Nelson Mandela. If the world can learn to love and give full forgiveness without an eager to revenge, then harmony shall follow. In my country South Africa, there was a regime (Apartheid) which was responsible for an extreme bloodshed where black people lost their lives; mothers, fathers, sons and daughters lost their loved ones. Today we are a rainbow nation because of a great leader who learned the art of forgiveness and took a lead in forgiving so that his people can also forgive for the better and rebuilding a better South Africa for all. I have in the past came across writings of people full of anger and hate, stating that Former President Nelson Mandela sold black people out, these remarks come from the people who still have hate within and want nothing but to stir disputes and reopen healed wounds. A beautiful seed of peace, harmony and prosperity was sown and my very own people misuse the field and take not good care of the new plants. How many people who benefited from Black Economic Empowerment but fail to empower others as planned? Instead they are feeding the crave of their lavish lifestyles instead of honoring human dignity by creating a better life for all. Big up to businessmen like Patrice Motsepe of Motsepe Foundation, selfless business leaders like him are needed. Now whoever becomes a fool to many by keeping the peace, he is doing it for a good course and respect for human dignity. We need not to make this life about making people pay, but to seek ways of peace and observe ways of maintaining it, giving love to all including our enemies; without conditions. From time to time people tried an eye for and eye, tooth for a tooth system but it never worked, instead it kept feeding grudges, rebellion, hate and war. And all these things keep leaving angry orphans behind, ghost cities, lifeless bodies on the streets, criminals and selfish power hungry lunatics. The sufferings that are happening in Africa, Haiti among other known countries..... The civil wars taking place all across the world, major wars and nuclear weapons threats, lack of peace in the Middle East. They are all caused by human intolerance. People, it is within us to start making a change, let us live and speak love in our homes and work places, let us learn to forgive! Start with that uncle, aunt, brother, sister and cousin. Start with that friend that betrayed you, the neighbor that crossed the line. Seek peace and find it. Many say it's not easy but I say it is worth it, especially for the coming generation. Peace……
